It was a pleasure having an important and relevant exchange with the Member of Parliament for Whitby, ON, Celina Caesar-Chavannes, regarding the balance of success, and at times “It’s ok to not be ok!” (#itsoktonotbeok), We all need a quick minute to recalibrate – I know you will agree.

My husband and I had the pleasure of being Presenters at the first Black ‘Fruits’ Embrace S.T.E.M for Change – A Black History Business Affair 365, in conjunction with the Educational Foundation for Children’s Care Canada, under the leadership of the President, Pauline Christian. This extraordinary event was held on Sunday, March 18, 2018, where an intellectual explosion of ideas amongst the Black Business Entrepreneurs who gathered at the expo.  The primary focus of this event was (1) Black History as it relates to S.T.E.M and (2) Restoration of the Black economy (Pauline Christian).

The Perfect Glow

Hello Beautiful People!

Yes, I do love makeup!  Yes, I do enjoy making people look and feel beautiful. I am a MAC Cosmetics Pro Member, this is an absolutely high end cosmetics brand; however,  recently I have been browsing around and purchasing some drugstore cosmetics for my makeup bag.

I will be doing a few beauty posts on my recent drugstore hauls, starting with two CoverGirl Vitalist Healthy Glow Highlighters named sunkissed  04 and sundown 05.

The CoverGirl Vitalist Healthy Glow Highlighters have a smooth, silky doughy consistency. The two highlighters  I’ve purchased are sunkissed  04 and sundown 05; they are both gorgeous on dark skinned tones.  The sunkissed 04 highlighter is a peachie/bronze colour, which gives an attractive warm glow to the face; sundown 05, is  darker, it is a metallic/rose colour, which gives your face an amazing shimmer.  I used my MAC 191 foundation brush to apply the highlighters after my foundation was set, I placed the products on my cheek bones, my nose bridge, my forehead and my chin.

I  am pleased with the results and would likely use these highlighters again! I would definitely recommend these highlighters, it will give you a “beat face” and an illuminating fresh glow.

My 2 Summer Favs (Lipsticks in Nude & Bold)

Hello Beautiful People!

My two summer loves – MAC Lipsticks in Blankety and Ruby Woo, they are two fabulous lipsticks.  I went from a nude fresh clean look to a bright bold look and they were so fun.

MAC Lipstick Blankety – Nude, Soft-pink, beige (Amplified Crème)

MAC Lipstick Ruby W00 – Bright blue red lipstick, (Retro matte)

Here’s how I created the perfect lips with these two stunning neutral and bold lipsticks.

  1.  I exfoliated my lips (I used a toothbrush to do the job!).
  2. I used the MAC Prep + Prime, which really prepared my lips for a smooth flawless application.
  3. I lined my lips using MAC Cherry lip liner with the MAC Ruby Woo lipstick, and MAC Cork lip liner to compliment my  MAC Lipstick Blankety.

Thank You & Happy New Year!

Hello Beautiful People!
There are only a few hours left before we say farewell to 2014! I want to thank you all for your support, encouragement and for stopping in to read the beauty and etiquette tips from my blog white SAND & YELLOW diamond. It has been an amazing journey since I started my blog one year ago this month; my husband Kelvin encouraged me to begin blogging my work and I am thrilled I took his advice.  Blogging is not only enjoyable but it renders a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment to be a positive conduit lecturing on and celebrating the art of beauty and self confidence.

Thank you WordPress for providing the forum and for the support you give to us bloggers to express our creative thoughts and images. Kelvin has been very instrumental in lending his editing skills and his noteworthy, honest critiques of my materials – I am grateful he is my biggest fan. Last but not least, Pochina has been the top active commenter on the blog; she’s a beautiful, free spirit, and so full of positive, optimistic energy.

I am looking forward to a fantastic and exciting 2015! How about you? Until we touch base again, I want to wish you and your family an amazing New Year filled with success, good health and peace.
Love you Beautiful People!

It’s 6:45 am, I am on the secluded Taino Beach on the island of Grand Bahama. It is a breathtaking scene of calm ocean, white sand, seashells, driftwood and seagulls. I am here waiting on one thing…..the sunrise! Behold, a morning sunrise on Taino Beach, Grand Bahama, The Bahamas.
